Employer Say

"It's an excellent program."

"Every once in a while they (Leads) come in and I'm comfortable with the frequency ...I don't see our employee as anything other than a regular employee."

"They (Leads) have been great at following up, I have no complaints at all."

I enjoy the people who need extra direction. It's rewarding. A lot of the time parents hold back these kids. I know of situations where the kids are capable of more than the parents will allow. It's too bad because they have a need too, to contribute, and to grow. (Our employee) bought a new bike with money just recently and he's so happy...
Everybody wants somebody who can bang out the parts. But everybody's 100% different. (Our employee) may seem 85% to some, but I think he's working at his 100% and that's all I can ask. He's only missed one day, and has never been late. He's willing to do overtime and I'm as willing to ask him as the other guys. Our employee can do almost anything any other employee can, providing you take the time.
In the end, the company will be better off for it. Like any employee, the more attention you show them, the more you get out of them. They feel like they belong. The important thing is not to treat them any different than the others."

"They (Leads) deliver anything we ask, they're always accommodating, we've never had any problems."

"Everything is treated really well. They (Leads) keep very organized.
Our employee is very punctual and efficient."

"It's a valuable service. We've had people say to us how responsible they are, remembering to shut gates behind them and to put the flyer directly into the mailbox. If anyone needs a service, we're more than happy to recommend them."

Guest speakers at the Grand Bend and Area Chamber meeting last week were members of Leads Employment, a no cost human resources service.

This group's mandate is to provide people with disabilities/barriers complete customer satisfaction, through quality services.

Leads Employment Services is a not-for-profit employment and skills development agency founded in 1986. They have placed more than 12,500 candidates with more than 10,000 employers.
The Employment Specialists at Leads work with a diverse range of, well-respected public, private and not-for-profit sector employers across Southwestern Ontario.
This no cost service that allows you to get an understanding of what you need from the very beginning. At Leads, they work with the employer to assess the position available, the organization requirements and the qualifications of the preferred candidate. This cuts your upfront time and saves recruitment costs. This company reviews the candidates' experience and identifies the individuals that would best fit the opportunity you are offering. They present you a shortlist of only the most qualified.

The Pinedale Motor Inn saw the great potential for this service many years ago. Mary Jo Snopko says over the last five years they have been privileged to have on our staff at least two Leads employees. "They were; and one still is at present, a valued and integral member of the Pine Dale Family. He is a multitalented individual who helps to keep our establishment running like a fine Swiss watch," she says.
